Modifying Module Properties using DXL

Hello,

I would like to know how module properties can be modified using DXL.

Foe example, how can I find out if the checkbox titled "Only allow outgoing links to the target modules in the list above" in the "Linksets" tab of the "Module Properties" window is checked? If it is unchecked, how can I set this checkbox using DXL?

well, generally, you just say
m."attribute" = "value"
(which you can see in the dxl help, section "Attribute values".) But sometimes it is not so easy. You will have to browse through the help file.

The property of your example is not so easy to find, as it is not an attribute of the module itself, this setting modifies the containing folder. You could have found it by searching for "Only allow outgoing links" in the help file. This will lead you to the section "Link management".
The perm is called setLinkModuleDescriptorsExclusive.
Hope this helps
